A story about a dollar

Ok, so, you have a dollar. It is just a little thing. A thing of minimal value but, some value all the same. Something happens that you leave the dollar sitting on a table. You walk away from it. You return sometime later and the dollar is still there. You are rather happy because you can use the dollar.
Later, you have a dollar. It is just a little thing. A thing of minimal value but, some value all the same. Something happens that you leave the dollar sitting on a table. You walk away from it. You return sometime later and the dollar is still there. You are rather happy because you can use the dollar.
Even later, you have a dollar. It is just a little thing. A thing of minimal value but, some value all the same. Something happens that you leave the dollar sitting on a table. You walk away from it. You return sometime later and the dollar is gone. You thought it would still be there. After all, the other times you walked away the dollar was still there when you returned.
See, what happened this time is that someone came along and saw the dollar. The dollar was of more value to them than it was to you. So, they took the dollar.
Now, you have no dollar. You could use that dollar from time to time but, you left it and walked away.
The End.

I saw on TV a few weeks ago that the bloke out of Dollar has now joined Bucks Fizz...and the holiday camps of Europe shudder in terror, I imagine.
Anyway...groovy story...very Zen
