Joss Whedon is going to give us another amazing ass kicking gal and the movie you all know you want to see, Serenity, opens on Friday.

"Joss Whedon, the Oscar® - and Emmy - nominated writer/director responsible for the worldwide television phenomena of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE, ANGEL and FIREFLY, now applies his trademark compassion and wit to a small band of galactic outcasts 500 years in the future in his feature film directorial debut, Serenity. The film centers around Captain Malcolm Reynolds, a hardened veteran (on the losing side) of a galactic civil war, who now ekes out a living pulling off small crimes and transport-for-hire aboard his ship, Serenity. He leads a small, eclectic crew who are the closest thing he has left to family -squabbling, insubordinate and undyingly loyal."

I'm attending a special bloggers' screening of the movie tomorrow night (Tuesday). And I still need a partner. You need to be able to meet me at the theater (AMC at Parkway Point)by 6:15 or at my office on Marietta Blvd. (off of Howell Mill) by 5:30. A couple of people expressed a little interest before but I need to nail it down. I can be bought for a tub of popcorn. (And by the by- The largest tub of movie theater popcorn that you have to hug instead of hold shall hence forth be known as the Hug Tub. glenn5 as deemed it so.)
