Tour of Southern Ghosts...
Oct. 10th, 2006 10:55 amor more shameless self promotion...
It's that time of year again and Art Station is proud to present Tour of Southern Ghosts at Stone Mountain Park's Plantation.
"A Tour of Southern Ghosts" is a storytelling festival that celebrates the spirit, the folklore and the merriment of the Halloween season. For 14 nights this fall, some 15,000 visitors will be guided on a lantern-lit tour of yesteryear vividly brought to life through the grand tradition of Southern storytelling.
Ticket prices are:
Adults $10, Children 12 and under $5
Presale Adult tickets are only $8
There are 2 locations to purchase advance tickets:
at the ART Station Box office
Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
5384 Manor Drive, Stone Mountain, GA 30083
at ART Station Gift Shop II
Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
968 Main Street, also in the Village of Stone Mountain
Now the personal stuff.
I am telling on the following dates:
Thurs 12
Sat 14- A*
Sun 15
Fri 20
Sat 28-B*
Mon 30
*If there is a letter noted this is a "Double Tour" Night which means we are running two separate tours. If you want to see me make sure you tell them at the box office so they can make sure you are put with the correct group. (And since people sometimes get moved at the last minute it is good to double check with them when you get your tickets that night.) And yes, people come out all the time to see a specific storyteller so they don't mind you asking.
Even if you don't come out to see me you should still come. We have a great crew this year of very talented storytellers and you will have a good time.
See you all on the mountain!!!
