Anyone out in LJ land have a spare laptop power cord they want to part with?
Mine has gone kaput. And I really want to get the laptop juice again before this battery is no good either. (When the power source died a couple of years ago the battery was kaput afterward.) I have an HP Pavillion ZE5170 laptop.

Again, I'm desperate. It has my resumes and saved emails on it. The resumes I backed up to a disc but the saved emails have allot of job contacts which I need and didn't get a chance to save.

*sigh*
When will the hits stop coming?

I don't have the power supply for it, but I do have a 120 Gig USB external hard drive if you have enough juice to back up the info you want. You can also email yourself at a Yahoo account or something couldn't you?

Sadly, not enough juice for it to power on for me to transfer stuff. :-( Which is odd since I found the sweetspot for it to charge and let it green light before I turned it on. I guess I just let it sit too long after that.

I have my resumes and such so I am set with those. I had just emailed myself several leads. And since my laptop is set to download my mail instead of leaving it on the server....

Office Depot sells a Targus Laptop Power Supply with 7 different ends and auto adjustable voltage for $59. I use one to power a Thinkpad Laptop I got on Ebay which came without a Power Supply.
