I have spent the weekend exhausting myself for the 48 Hour Film Festival. (So if you called or emailed or tried to reach me in any other way and didn't hear back this is why.)

My team (Scorpian Sting Productions) is part of Group B so it screens at the Midtown Landmark theater Wednesday at 9:00pm. (Sorry I don't know a ticket price but I think about 5.00 or 10.00 if I recall past year correctly.) I don't know if it will be any good but you should come out all the same. Some of these things are great. Some of them are brilliant. But, all are amazing in the idea that they took 48 Hours from concept to final product. That takes dedication.

Date: May 24 and 25
Time: Group A May 24 at 6:30p; Group B May 24 at 9p; Group C May 25 at 6:30p; Group D May 25 at 9p;
Place: Landmark Midtown Art Cinema, 931 Monroe Dr.,Atlanta, GA 30308,678-495-1424
Notes: Tickets can be purchased at the door half an hour before the first screening. Tickets will sell out, so be sure to get in line early!


Now you know..and knowing is half the battle. As soon as I figure out the other half I'll let you know.

FYI - I don't think I can make it on Wednesday. I am hoping to be in bed by 9:00 or 10:00 in anticipation of the crack of dawn departure to Dallas on Thursday. If you get a DVD of it let's watch. Or if it turns out to be amazing and makes the "best of" let me know when that screening is.

Mike is working on one. So far we have dates, Earl on June 7th at 9ish with the Infernals. The art will be hanging at East Side Lounge from June 5th thru the 7th. I think we're doing a reception on Monday night. I'm so glad you're my pimp. I'm coming into town at the end of the week and staying until we do the gig. Let the games begin!!!

LOL he has a brother but he is nothing like him and very lazy...

ahhh, I misread the dates, I didn't realize they were Wed evening, I was thinking (for whatever reason) they were Friday. bugger - it depends on if we get our changes moved into our live systems in an expedient fashion or not on Wed night - that is the night we move everything into production. Gotta love IT.

I'll keep everyone up to date via my journal where we will be as I know I would love to see folks (including you). *hugs*

You are busy and have allot going on with work and Collective and all of that. It's ok. I get it. I just throw myself against the rocks for too many people. I call, email, go out, see shows, etc etc etc and get nothing in return. I can't keep investing. The world is sucking me dry but I put myself in the position to let it happen. You are a very very small part of the larger picture in my frustration and fatigue. I am not upset with you. There is nothing "wrong". I am just noticing my place in the balance of the world. I don't like it. So I am trying to change it.
