What I never thought...

So much in my life that I never thought I would see.
Yet my eyes were pried open as the visions were poured in.

So much in my life I never thought I would feel.
But my heart is more sensitive than I expected.

So many things I never thought that I would do.
But, necessity breeds strange occurrence.

So many things I never thought I would be.
But on occasion the titles are unmistakable.

I bundle all of these things into a carpet bag and set out upon my life.
I go weak kneed from your kisses and confused my the devotion I thought I saw in your eyes.
I walk away and my breath catches in my throat as your hand catches mine.
A moment shared and then dismissed.
One more thing to put in the bag.
